Benítez attended a 'programmed' UFO sighting on the Chilca sands of Peru while covering IPRI (Instituto Peruano de Relaciones Interplanetarias) for La Gaceta del Norte; the episode fed Ovnis: S.O.S. a la humanidad (1975) and sits at the root of the Sixto Paz Wells Misión RAMA contactee line he helped broadcast to Spain.
