The Statue of Liberty, presented as a gift from France to the United States, was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a documented Freemason. The statue's design draws heavily from ancient depictions of the Roman goddess Libertas and the Babylonian goddess Ishtar/Semiramis—figures associated in esoteric traditions with the "light-bearer" or Lucifer. The seven rays emanating from the statue's crown correspond to the seven classical planets of ancient astrology and occult tradition. The torch held aloft represents the "light of knowledge" that Lucifer (literally "light-bearer" in Latin) offered to humanity in the Garden of Eden. This same symbolism appears in Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods—a figure explicitly linked to Lucifer in occult teachings. The statue was funded in part by Masonic lodges, and its dedication ceremony featured Masonic rituals. The Illuminati torch appears in numerous elite institutions and corporate logos worldwide. Rather than representing liberty in the conventional sense, the monument may serve as a declaration of allegiance to Luciferian principles by those who orchestrated America's founding and continue to guide its destiny from the shadows.
