In June 2026, by the Pentagon's dating, federal agents guarding a sensitive site in the western United States watched a small matte-black triangle climb above a ridgeline, hold still in the air, then race into a canyon with no sound, exhaust or hot spots. AARO debriefed them and the FBI took their signed statement; both were made public that October. AARO wants the case pursued because it matches other regional reports, and neither record says what the object was.
