In 2002, a U.S. Army squad went missing in a remote mountain region of Kandahar, Afghanistan. A rescue unit tracked them to a massive cave littered with discarded military gear.A 13-foot-tall giant emerged from the cave and impaled a soldier with a spear. The remaining soldiers opened fire, ultimately killing the creature with sustained headshots. The military allegedly packed the giant's corpse into a net and flew it away on a cargo helicopter.
