Giants of the Ancient World

The Book of Enoch describes the Nephilim as giants reaching heights of 300 cubits (approximately 450 feet in some interpretations, though more conservative readings suggest 15-30 feet). While such extreme heights may be symbolic, substantial evidence exists for the historical presence of humans of extraordinary stature. Newspaper archives from the 19th and early 20th centuries contain hundreds of reports of giant skeletal remains discovered across North America, often found in burial mounds. These accounts describe skeletons ranging from 7 to 12 feet in height, frequently with double rows of teeth and other anatomical anomalies. The Smithsonian Institution received many of these specimens, yet they have seemingly vanished from the historical record. Native American oral traditions consistently reference giants who once inhabited the land. The Si-Te-Cah of Paiute legend, the stone giants of Iroquois tradition, and similar accounts from cultures worldwide point to a shared memory of these beings. Genesis 6:4 confirms their existence, stating "There were giants in the earth in those days." The systematic suppression of this evidence suggests a deliberate effort to conceal humanity's true history.
