RECORDING
In the subterranean crypts of the Temple of Hathor at Dendera, carved reliefs show elongated oval forms enclosing upright serpents, often rising from lotus elements and accompanied by djed pillars, barges, and attending figures. In late twentieth-century alternative-history media, those scenes became “Dendera light bulbs”—supposed diagrams of ancient electrical lamps.
